It takes a certain type of individual to inspire others

What is it about us humans that make some of us so passionate, determined and focused to achieve our goals? While for others the glass is half empty. Who knows the answer, and you may say who cares, but we say let's be inspired. It's hard to keep the cheesy clichés in the closet, but we'll try.

Chris Waddell's GivYo is skiing and climbing

Mt Kilimanjaro reaches 19,000ft, getting to the summit is a feat for anyone. Each year many fail this challenge, but not Chris Waddell. Completely unassisted, using the power of his arms only, our GivYo Hero Chris, was triumphant.

A freak skiing accident left Chris paralysed from the waist down, but he wasn't ever going to let that stop his climbing endeavours and adventure experiences. Using a specially adapted cycle, steered by his chest and powered by arms he became the first paraplegic to scale Africa's highest mountain.
