Includes everything you'll need to make a successful summit of the largest freestanding mountain in the world, Kilimanjaro. Standing at 19,341 ft (5,895 m), Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, and a worthy addition to any adventurer's bucket list.

Climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa

You'll be flying into Kilimanjaro International Airport, where we'll pick you up and drive you to your lodge in Moshi town, closer to the mountain. There we'll go over the plans for the days ahead, and make sure everything is ready for your departure the next morning.

INCLUDES: airport transfers, all meals, lodging in Moshi on the first night, all fees and taxes, transport from Moshi to the mountain, porter and guide fees, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and private toilet.

DOES NOT INCLUDE: Tanzanian visa-on-arrival ($50-100) and guide/porter/cook gratuity ($200-$250). We also recommend bringing your own personal items: jacket, gloves, hat, shoes and/or boots, etc. If this cannot be arranged, we can rent them for you (although your own well-broken in boots are definitely important).

NOTE: Porters will be carrying all of the gear, as well as setting up and tearing down camp every day. A cook will be preparing your meals on the mountain. All you need to do is the hiking, carrying a day pack along with you. This is the way the mountain is setup — all groups must use guides and porters, as it is mandated by law to ensure climber safety.

NOTE: we can do Kilimanjaro hikes in one or two, but we recommend eight days for proper acclimatization to the elevation, which results in a higher success rate when making it to the summit. This longer route (Lemosho) also has less people, which makes your experience all that more enjoyable.
